Unprecedented in a large capacity commercial upright storage cabinet, Flex Temp allows kitchen planners and operators to approach refrigeration provision in a different way. No longer do you need to be confined or restricted in your menu or offering by having x number of refrigerators and x number of freezers, these units can be one thing during breakfast service, the other for lunch and whatever you need them to be for dinner, independently configured to suit.
As an extension of our world-renown for performance T-Series, Flex Temp products are certified Climate Class 5 for efficient performance in high ambient and demanding commercial environments.
True Flex Temp products feature a physical toggle switch to alternate between operating temperatures, secured behind the bottom grill to protect against accidental change.
Whether located in a customer-facing environment like supermarket click & collect or a production kitchen which is rented out to different concepts on a short-term basis, the method of cycling modes on Flex Temp is secure enough that it can’t be done in error.
After switching, there will be an adjustment period where the temperature must increase or decrease. During this transition, no products should be placed inside the unit until it has reached the target temperature for fridge or freezer, as indicated on the external Temperature Display. Pre-chilled or frozen products can then be loaded into the cabinet.
